Updated: Sep 17, 2018

In this episode of the Dreamer’s Financial Playbook, we’re taking in inside look at how the Clewis Clan handles request for financial assistance. No, we’re not a charitable organization, but in our house, we believe in being generous givers. The problem is that sometimes it can be really have to figure out who you should and should not give that assistance too. That’s why we’ve created a list of 5 questions that we typically ask when deciding whether to say “Yay” or “Nay.”

The questions themselves are listed below, but listen to this episode of DFP to dive into why we ask these question and how we use the answers to make our final decision.

Clewis Questions for Giving Benevolence

  1. What created this situation?

  2. Can we afford to help this person? If so, with how much?

  3. Do they have a proven history of needing financial assistance? If so, are we assisting or enabling?

  4. What is their game plan to avoid this in the future?

  5. When I pray about it, what does the Holy Spirit say?
